On December 9, Fiesta Carnival, a nostalgic indoor amusement park, reopened its doors in Cubao. Finally marking a comeback after being closed for almost two decades. Originally popular among Baby Boomers and Gen Xers in the 1970s to the 1990s, the park aims to attract a new generation of visitors. It is also offering a trip down memory lane for those who hold cherished memories from the past. Fiesta Carnival shut down in 2004, making way for a Shopwise grocery store. However, with the recent opening of Gateway Mall 2 in early 2023 and the subsequent relocation of Shopwise, Fiesta Carnival reclaimed its original spot, much to the delight of its former patrons. For many in their late thirties, forties, and beyond, Fiesta Carnival represents a nostalgic escape to their youth. The reopening also provides an opportunity to relive the classic rides and attractions.
It is also introducing a new generation to the simple joys of an indoor amusement park. Families now come together to share in the experience, blending the old and the new. The modernized Fiesta Carnival spans approximately 13,000 square meters, offering a mix of classic charm and updated facilities. Operating daily from 11 AM to 10 PM (Monday to Thursday) and 10 AM to 10 PM (Friday to Sunday), the extended hours cater to visitors’ convenience. The free entrance policy makes it accessible to all, with rides individually priced to customize the experience based on preferences. While entrance is free, the individually priced rides cater to varying preferences. From the timeless carousel to adrenaline-pumping roller coasters, Fiesta Carnival provides a diverse range of attractions suitable for all age groups. As families come together to share the joy of classic amusement, the park becomes a hub of shared experiences.
Classic Amusement for All Ages
At Fiesta Carnival, visitors can enjoy an array of classic perya games, adding a touch of tradition to the modernized amusement park experience. From ring toss and balloon darts to shooting galleries, these carnival games offer a fun challenge for visitors of all ages. The perya provides a perfect blend of old-school fun and contemporary entertainment. Ensuring that the spirit of the carnival lives on in the hearts of both frequent patrons and new visitors alike. Fiesta Carnival’s return is not just a stroll down memory lane but also a tangible connection between generations. Whether revisiting the past or creating new memories, it promises a genuine and nostalgic escape.
