Largest Ikea in the Philippines is now Open – Pasay City, Manila

Ikea Showroom in Pasay, Manila

They kept their promises and commitment to the Filipino Shoppers, that despite of the all the crisis and challenges that we have faced and still facing because of the Covid-19 pandemic, Ikea Philippines is finally and officially open.

To start with, we are lucky because we were able to book our appointment ahead of time. So, you can start your plan by booking a reservation (on the link provided below) to avoid wasting time to travel and gasoline. Here’s how

You must remember, no appointment, no shopping.

Ikea Philippine is located at Mall of Asia Complex, J.W. Diokno Blvd, Pasay, 1300 Metro Manila. It is along Marina Way and Pacific Drive. You won’t get lost because of the HUGE Ikea name or logo. The parking entrance is along Coral Way, make sure to be there ahead of your appointment schedule because the parking lineup was pretty long.

At the entrance, you need to present your QR Code and or show the email confirmation of your reservation and they will stamp your arm. They have plenty of employees deployed all over the place to help and assist customers to find their way to the shop.

At the 2nd level, you will see the Swedish Cafe. Unfortunately, we are not lucky to seat and try their food because we are excited to check out and grab whatever items we can find, but as people say, “there’s always the next time”.

Especially if you are starting to build your home or reimage your home, Ikea is the best place. From furniture to kitchen wares, home decoration, you can even find toys for your kids. Ikea is a one-stop-shop.

It seems that the opening of Ikea was the most awaited of our fellow Filipinos and some foreigners who are here in the country. From what we saw online, their products are really good and quality, I got to say that some items are really cheap.

This booth will help you to place orders for your big items like furniture, mattress, and alike. You can have it delivered or picked up. There is a minimal delivery service fee that starts at P500 and you will receive your items in 3 days or so depends on your area.

It looks like everyone’s favorite tagline when they came here is that SHOP TILL YOU DROP.

At the check-out area, we found a long file of people with pushcarts and patiently waiting for their turn. But don’t get frustrated if you only have a few items on your shopping bag because you can proceed to yellow tag counters, they allocated for the 10 items and below and pretty fast.

Like other supermarkets or shopping centers, they have food courts or food counters. They called it the Swedish Bistro, it is right after the counter or check-out the area. But again, there is a pretty long line before you can order your food and we are not able to try them because of the obvious reason, but it’s fine we can always go back.

Happy Shopping! Don’t forget to bring your alcohol or hand sanitizer for safety and wear your facemask all the time to stay safe.
